New Year

2017 has been an absolute rollercoaster. It’s been amazing but it’s also been incredibly hard at times. I had the most beautiful little girl in the world. Although the transition to motherhood was not the smoothest🙈🤷🏻‍♀️, I would not trade it for the world. EJ, you are the best little human and I thank God everyday for choosing me to be your mom. I legit appreciate my mom 100 times more now that I have had a child. I celebrated 2 years married to the man of my dreams, I had an amazing wedding season, became even more passionate about advocating for safer beauty with beautycounter, and have pushed myself to get out of my comfort zone more and more everyday. Unfortunately, this year brought a huge loss. I lost my father who was battling with mental illness. This year has been TOUGH. I have grown so much and thank God for these seasons that force me to grow, push through, and realize just how strong I really am. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental illness, hopelessness, feeling alone, feeling defeated, and feeling like you just cannot go on, I want you to know that you are LOVED, you are VALUED, God has a huge plan for you and this too shall pass. Let 2018 be a fresh start. Thank you to everyone who has made 2017 leaving me feeling supported, encouraged, loved, and ready to take on another year with you all♥️. Cheers to a new year of hopefully a little more sleep, a lot of love, and many blessings!!!🍾♥️👊🏻

I took over my father’s blog September of 2017 after losing his battle with mental illness. This blog was originally to share my journey through grieving, finding peace, and trusting God in the process...and in many ways is exactly that. This has evolved into life as a family of 4 with 2 dogs, living in the Midwest. I will cover everything from fashion to our family routines. Join us on this crazy adventure!
